Mega Man Battle Network ROM is a 2002 video game developed and published by Capcom. It is the first game in the Mega Man Battle Network series. The game was followed by six sequels, as well as various spin-offs and ports. Mega Man Battle Network tells the story of Lan Hikari and his NetNavi, MegaMan.EXE, as they fight to protect the world from criminals who use the internet to commit crimes. The game takes place in two settings; cyberspace, where battles take place between Navis, and the real world, where Lan lives with his friends and family.
