Asteroids Hyper 64 Rom Download

You might not believe it, but Asteroids Hyper 64 ROM plays just like the classic Asteroids from years ago. That’s because developer Syrox decided to recreate the game in its original 2D style, adding in polygonal foreground asteroids, ships, explosions, and more. The actual gameplay has remained virtually unchanged. Players control an elite ship dispatched to take out various giant rocks, hulking ships, comets—you name it.

The beginning levels are easy enough–simply shoot and advance. However, as the game goes on, it becomes increasingly difficult to avoid obstacles while trying to take everything out. The controls aren’t too complicated; you accelerate with A and use special weapons with the camera buttons. Z-Trigger protects the ship for a short period of time. Despite being challenging, it’s still enjoyable like Asteroids was back in the day.
