Ubisoft developed “Assassin’s Creed: Rogue”, a part of the widely popular “Assassin’s Creed” series. The game follows the same format as its predecessors, featuring an adventurous action game from a third-person perspective. Similar to “Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag,” which was released the previous year, “Assassin’s Creed: Rogue” allows players to experience the sensation of sailing on pirate ships in the eighteenth century.

The story is set in a made-up version of real historical events and revolves around a conflict that has been going on for centuries. On one side are the Assassins, who strive to achieve peace by preserving free will. On the other side are the Templars, who want to establish peace by exerting control. The plot takes place in the mid-18th century, amid the “Seven Years War,” and centers on Shay Patrick Cormac, an Assassin-turned-Templar who goes after former associates of the Brotherhood after being double-crossed in the past.

Unlike the previous series in the “Assassin’s Creed” franchise which often depicts the conflict between the Templar and Assassin factions and focuses on the Assassins, this installment switches things up by giving players the opportunity to play as the Templars.
