New Pokemon Legends: Arceus Freebie Now Available

In the Nintendo Switch game, obtain a free Shiny Baneful Fox mask.

The Pokemon Company is handing out a freebie for Pokemon Legends: Arceus.

Players who play Pokemon Legends: Arceus can obtain a free Shiny Baneful Fox mask as a memento of the series’ final episode, Pokemon: Hisuian Snow animated special.

The Shiny Baneful Fox mask is another freebie for the game distributed via Mystery Gift, just like previous freebies. To receive it, simply start the game and follow these steps:

1. Tap the Up button to display the menu
2. Flip to the Communications tab
3. Choose “Mystery Gifts”
4. Select “Get via Internet”
5. Connect online and download the free item

The Shiny Baneful Fox mask will be retired on June 1, 2023.

That isn’t the only freebie available for Pokemon Legends: Arceus right now. If you move a Pokemon from the game to the Pokemon Home service, you’ll get the three Hisui starter Pokemon as a bonus. All three Pokemon have maximum effort levels, which makes them more powerful than those that can be caught in the wild.

There will be more Pokemon games down the road for the Nintendo Switch. On June 24, the classic N64 game Pokemon Snap will become available to play on the Nintendo Switch Online service, along with a brand-new pair of games called Pokemon Scarlet and Violet.
