Picking up where the last section left off, players will take control of the main character after they become champion of Olympic City. But on their way to the victory celebration, they have an accident that leaves them in a coma for six months. When our protagonist wakes up, they get insurance money from the accident and move to Bayview city where new races begin. The 31 different cars you can edit in this game allow you to show off your personality while still keeping the old gameplay. In addition to the old game modes, there are two new ones: Street X and Underground Racing League. The “Explore” mode is particularly unique because it allows players to move freely around Bayview as if it were an open-world game.
