Crazy Taxi 2 is a sequel to the original game, and it features similar gameplay. It’s all about delivering people to specified locations by picking them up at brightly colored rings and dropping them off at designated spots. Crazy Taxi 2 introduced additional pickups, allowing players to transport many people at once (rather than just one). The “Crazy Hop” function was also added; it allows players to spring over obstacles to save time as they drive passengers around the cities. The driver accumulates tips from their passengers, which increases the total score by performing moves such as the “Crazy Hop” and the “Crazy Dash”. The Offspring and Methods of Mayhem’s original music was updated for this sequel. There are several online features in the form of a scoreboard and replay-sharing, as well as internet modes such as rankings and sharing.
