Mortal Kombat: Deception ROM is a fighting game developed by Midway and was the sixth chapter in the Mortal Kombat series, first released on October 4, 2004. The story of this area takes place before the first Mortal Kombat, when Shujinko, a human master, listened to Damashi’s ghost in order to gain property from six realms. After gathering enough Shujinko found out that there was still a missing component. At this time Onaga, the dragon king, appeared to steal six of Shujinko’s possessions after discovering that he had been fooled by Onaga. The king was so frightened that Shujinko had fled, and he rushed to the palace of Shang Tsung and murdered him, Quanchi, and Raiden to seize their remains. Play as one of 12 pre-defined characters or unlock up to 12 hidden characters via game progression. Deception signified a significant step forward when it first allowed for a character’s arsenal to include multiple fighting types (usually each figure would have three distinct fighting styles). There are also certain characters who only have two fighting types. The characters will have a distinct combo style based on the various combat styles used to make creative combos, and the more difficult the level, the greater the branch strength.
