Fire Emblem Radiant Dawn maintains the gameplay features of Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance, with turn-based combat taking place on a square-based grid. The majority of the cast from Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance returns, as well as characters who are new to Tellius (except Largo). You may use a memory card to move data from a completed Path of Radiance save file to Radiant Dawn. This might allow characters to improve their statistics. This method can also be used to access and view Support Conversations from Path of Radiance. In Radiant Dawn, support has been adjusted so that a unit may assist any other. Units can only have one support connection at a time, though they can all be supported by the same partner.
