The Contra Advance – The Alien Wars EX ROM series is a long-running 2D action franchise that started on the NES. The games are usually side-scrolling shooters where you play as one of two soldiers, Bill Rizer or Lance Bean, as they fight their way through hordes of enemies to save the world. The Alien Wars EX is an enhanced remake of the 1992 game Contra III: The Alien Wars for the SNES. It features new graphics, sound and gameplay elements. This version was ported to the Game Boy Advance in 2002.
