Bio Metal is a sidescrolling action/run and gun game for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System released in 1993 by Konami. The game was not released in North America.

Bio Metal rom is a game You may have never heard of Bio Metal. It’s one of those games that was only released in Japan and Europe, and even then it was only available on the Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES). But if you’re lucky enough to own a copy, or if you’ve emulated it, you know that this game is pure gold. Despite its age, Bio Metal has aged incredibly well.

The graphics are colorful and distinct, the music is catchy and adrenaline-pumping, and the gameplay is fast and frenetic. In other words, it’s exactly what you want from a run-and-gun game. You play as Zack, a member of an elite military unit known as the Iron Guard. When aliens launch a surprise attack on Earth, Zack is sent in to investigate. It quickly becomes clear that the aliens are using bio-metal to create an army of giant monsters, and it’s up to Zack to put a stop to their plans.

The game consists of eight stages, each with its own unique boss monster. The levels are varied, ranging from deserts to city streets to space stations. And while the game is tough, it’s also fair; if you die, you can continue from the last checkpoint with no penalty. There are also power-ups scattered throughout the levels that give Zack new weapons and abilities. Bio Metal is an excellent example of a forgotten gem. If you’re a fan of run-and-gun games, or if you’re just looking for something different to play, definitely give Bio Metal a try. You won’t be disappointed.
