Animal Crossing: New Leaf ROM is a ROM for the popular Nintendo 3DS game. It was released in Japan on November 8, 2012, and has since been released to other regions. As in the previous games in the series, the player takes on the role of a human character who lives in a village inhabited by anthropomorphic animals. The game also features a new “Find Mii”-style minigame called “Desert Island Escape”, where the player must use teamwork to escape from a deserted island.

One of the new features in Animal Crossing: New Leaf is the ability to become the mayor of the player’s village. As mayor, the player has the power to enact laws and ordinances which can impact the gameplay experience of other players in a positive or negative way. For example, the player can choose to increase or decrease the prices of goods at the shops, or set a curfew for when villagers must be indoors.
